The Smith family has been in business on this site in Phoebus for more than 100 years. There have been florists, carpenters, and funeral homes for generations in the area, but we have decided to create something new in Hampton Roads – a hard cidery. Today, Sly Clyde is two brothers who believe that the local movement is more important than ever. We aren’t nearly as funny as Clyde, but we are just as dedicated to creating a presence that will bring together the community. We are local guys who plan to be creators of amazing ciders that will inspire neighbors to share a pint and a funny story with one another.
